British Council Sri Lanka

Policy makers and Partners

Every teacher and learner of English in the world should have access to the skills, ideas and materials they need from the UK.

To achieve this vision, we engage with state governments, civil society organisations and corporate foundations. We believe that this engagement not only enables us to reach state teachers, trainers and teacher-trainers but also contribute in raising the standards of English language teaching and learning in the region. Our offerings include trainings, resources and professional development opportunities that are specifically adapted to the educational context of the region and needs of the end-beneficiaries.
