ELTeCS

English Language Teaching Contacts Scheme

The English Language Teachers' Contact Scheme (ELTeCS) is a forum for ELT professionals to share ideas on the latest ELT methodologies, discuss issues and find out about opportunities in their fields. It is an electronic network supported by an email list – all members receive weekly emails which are hot off the press. You can read them and save them for later, or join in by sending a reply to the list owner who will paste your response. Similar schemes are run very successfully in Europe, South America and East Asia.

SUPPORT
The ELTeCS Network in Sri Lanka helps to support Sri Lankan professionals by:

giving information on teachers' associations and organisations which are affiliated to ELTeCS in Sri Lanka and India
posting information on events in these associations and organisations
managing a newslist for Sri Lanka and India - ELTeCS-Sri Lanka
part-funding projects of ELTeCS members
organising regional ELTeCS events
promoting of Sri Lanka and international professional networking
promoting best practice and idea-sharing
providing information on what is happening in the world of English Language Teaching
