How do I renew my membership?

Renewals of membership can be done over the counter at the membership desk. You need to produce your old card . All overdue items need to be returned and all fines need to be settled prior to your application for a renwal of your membership.

Can I transfer my membership (from/to Colombo/Kandy)?

Yes you can. You are required to make an appointment with Bakthi Jayasundera, Head Lending Services, for a transfer from Colombo to Kandy. You are required to make an appointment with Shyamalie Dissanayake, Customer Service Officer for a transfer from Kandy to Colombo.

All items must be returned and fines paid before you request for a transfer. Membership is not transferable to another person.

What do I do if I lose my membership?

Loss of membership card must be reported to the membership desk in order to block your account so that the card cannot be used by another person. Any items checked out between the time of loss of card and the reporting will be the responsibility of the member in whose name the card is issued. Membership desk should be informed if the card is found in order to make it active.

A duplicate card can be issued at Rs. 250/-

Can I have my membership upgraded?

Teaching Centre reference membership and Examination Reference membership can be upgraded to a General one-year or General 6-month membership.

The expiry date will be the same as the reference membership expiry date at the time the upgrade is granted.
