The University of London offers a wide variety of qualifications to its external students studying around the world, such as Diplomas, Degrees, and Post Graduate examinations. The main examinations are held in May/June, with repeat exams for LLB held in October.

REGISTRATION
Registrations take place in January for May/June examinations and in August for October exams.

EXAM FEES
The fee includes the following:
Local fee
Rs. 3,500 per paper - payable to the British Council
Examination board fee

PAYMENT METHOD
Examination Board fee
Please refer the instructions on the Entry Form. Payments can be made by bank draft, a UK cheque, or by credit card. Please note that postal orders will not be accepted.
The candidate’s name and address should be written clearly on the reverse of the bank draft/cheque. Please produce a photocopy of the bank draft/cheque at the time of application submission.
Local fee
Fees can be paid in cash, by credit card (Visa/MasterCard), by cheque, or bank draft (SL Rupees) drawn in favour of 'British Council'.
You can also make a bank transfer to the following account (please bring or post the receipt):

REGISTRATION AND ADMISSIONS
May/June 2012 session: admissions have been sent to candidates via post. If you have not received admissions yet, please visit us to collect a copy of your admission.
October 2012 session: applications will be issued from August 2012. Watch this space for more details.
To register for the exam please produce the following at British Council Examinations Services counter:
Original application form and a copy of the application form
2 passport-sized photographs with your name written on the reverse (2 photographs and photocopy of bank draft should be attached to the top application form and original bank draft should be attached to the second application form)
A valid proof of identity (NIC, Passport or Postal ID)
