March Session
All the papers across all three levels can be taken in the March session
September Session
All the papers of the Crtificate level, certain papers of the Diploma level and of the Professional Graduate Diploma (PGD) level can be taken in the September session
REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
application forms can be obtained from the respective Course Providers OR British Council Examinations Services counter or can also be downloaded from our website
applications for the September 2012 session will be available from August 2012
you can also send your application form directly to BCS (address is on application form)

METHODS OF PAYMENTS AND FEES - SEPTEMBER 2012 SESSION
Payments can be made in Sri Lankan Rupees to British Council
Certificate fee per module - Rs 7,800/-
Diploma fee per module - Rs 8,700/-
Professional Graduate fee per module - Rs 16,100/-

MEMBERSHIP
you can pay for your membership at the same time you pay for your exam
Annual subscription (full or part –time) - Rs 5,000/-
Full-time course fee - Rs 7,800/-

IDENTIFICATION
When you hand in your completed entry form at the British Council, please present a valid proof of identity (National Identity Card or Passport).
Please bring your NIC or passport to the examination venue on the day of the exam
PLEASE NOTE: on no account will a candidate be allowed to sit for the examination without NIC or passport.

ADMISSION CARDS
Admission cards will be issued to all eligible candidates a week before the first date of the examination. If you do not receive the admission card by then please contact the British Council Examinations Services or BCS Regional Office at No3 Maitland Crescent, Colombo 07, Tel. 011 4736741.

STUDY MATERIAL
You can buy photocopies of past papers and Examiners’ Reports from British Council Examinations Services or download from the BCS website.
All BCS candidates can receive a free British Council library reference membership card. If you register at British Council you will receive this on registration. Other candidates please bring your proof of registration and we will issue the card.
