A Cambridge English qualification
Once you have earned a Cambridge English certificate, you hold one of the most valuable English qualifications in the world.
The examination takes about 3 hours in total and consists of four parts:
Reading (1 hour and 15 minutes)The Speaking test is conducted face-to-face by qualified examiners. Successful candidates are expected to be able to communicate effectively in face-to-face situations in a legal context.
ILEC is linked to the Common European Framework of Reference for Modern Languages (CEFR). The exam is set at CEFR levels B2-C1 which correspond to FCE/CAE levels. Examinations at the C1 level may be used as proof of language necessary to work in an international context or to follow a course of study related to law at university level.
ILEC gives detailed, meaningful results. All candidates receive a Statement of Results. Candidates who achieve Level B2 or above will also receive a certificate.
