There are lots of great learning experiences for teachers in Spain in the coming year organised by British Council and the Teachers Associations in Spain.

In September we kick off the year with our annual British Council conferences on 28 September and we’ll be streaming some of our sessions live so if you can’t make it you can still join us!

Our conference aims to inspire English and CLIL teachers to get more creative in the classroom.  Our guest speaker Robin Walker will share ideas on how to teach pronunciation creatively and our own expert teachers and trainers will share their own tips and advice on.

Don’t forget that there are plenty of seminars and workshops which you can see at anywhere at any time on our Teaching English site. (Note: all resources on the Teaching English website are free but you need to register to view or download).

Art & Language, conversation as art

With the support of the British Council, the exhibition Art & Language Uncompleted. The Philippe Méaille Collection, features an extensive selection of works of Art & Language. This artistic practice, often associated with conceptual art, questions the whole system of modern art and its vocabulary from a discursive and conversational perspective, turning it into one of the most complex and belligerent practices of the second half of the twentieth century.
