POSTGRADUATE STUDIES

How to choose a course

How do I get started?

See our subject information pages to find out more about the subject you're interested in. You can also search for the courses on offer on the Education UK and Prospects websites.

How can I compare courses and institutions?

For taught courses, check the Teaching Quality Assessment (TQA), which grades the quality of teaching and learning by subject or Teaching Quality Information.

For postgraduate research studies, see the Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) which gives a ranking, by subject, for research at each institution.

Will my degree be recognised in Slovenia?

You can contact the National Academic Recognition Centre (NARIC) at the Slovene Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology for general guidance.

Once you return, your qualification will have to be officially recognised. In Slovenia, this is done either by the University of Ljubljana, the University of Maribor or the University of Primorska.
