City Library of Novi Sad
This is one of the oldest libraries in Serbia, founded 150 years ago. With its more than 390,000 books and 20,000 customers it is among the biggest libraries in this country. They organize various cultural programmes, book clubs, poetry readings, lectures and concerts. Special attention is given to the children collection in order to motivate the young ones to read.
Their vision is to become modern information centre and with their catalogue online they have already positioned themselves as a real local community service centre.

NATIONAL LIBRARY ‘VUK KARADZIC’ IN KRAGUJEVAC
Founded in 1946, this library is a leading cultural and educational institution located in one of the biggest University centres in Serbia. The library offers more than 80,000 books as well as Serbian and international newspapers and magazines. They are the main information point for all citizens of Kragujevac and neighbouring towns, offering vast collections for self-development and leisure reading.
They organize various events, from book discussions, children activities, exhibitions, lectures and author visits.
