Our science vision

We are developing and implementing our strategy for 2010. Here is an outline of how we see our science work evolving and progressing.

There will be widespread recognition of the role of science, engineering and technology in helping to extend our understanding of the world and develop imaginative solutions to shared problems. Science will provide a common platform for collaboration and discussion that brings people together across deep cultural divides.  The universal language of science will encourage the mutual understanding essential for a more peaceful, secure and economically prosperous world.
