Radio reveals the people behind the science. There are several regular science radio programmes in the UK, many of which are broadcast on BBC Radio Four. Here is a selection of popular science radio programmes, many of which can be downloaded as podcasts after the live broadcast.

BBC Radio Four Science
BBC Radio Four has several regular science programmes as well as one-off programmes with a science theme. You can listen to the programmes live online, or playback programmes which were broadcast previously. Some of the most well-known are listed below.

Frontiers
Explores the latest ideas in science and the associated ethical and moral questions. Frontiers is presented by Peter Evans.

Leading Edge
Presented by Geoff Watts, Leading Edge celebrates scientific discoveries - often before they are published in journals. It also looks at the issues and latest discussions surrounding them.
