Chevening Scholarships are offered by the UK to countries outside of the European Union. Following its accession to the European Union, Romania will have no Chevening Scholarship allocations starting with 2008-2009.
Starting November 2008, Chevening and John Smith Scholarships for Moldova will be administered by British Council Ukraine.
