Partnership with schools

In addition to the English courses for young learners and adults on our premises on Dorobantilor, we also have mutually beneficial partnerships with schools in Bucharest. We have enjoyed relationships with a range of private and state schools over the past 3 years and are currently looking to make our teaching and language expertise more widely available. Partnerships with local schools offer the following additional advantages:

For students:

Students have access to our courses without the need to travel to our teaching centre.
Courses can be timetabled to suit the school day (e.g. in school lunch breaks).
Intensive preparation for Baccalaureate exempt Cambridge CAE, FCE and PET exams.
Courses are planned taking into account the needs of the school and its students
Students’ confidence is increased through learning in a familiar environment.

For schools:

Schools are able to maximise use of their facilities.
Teacher training is available to help teachers prepare for recognised qualifications, such as Cambridge Teacher Knowledge Test (TKT)

School managers are encouraged to contact: corporate.courses@britishcouncil.ro for further details about the above services and the possibility of establishing an agreement with The British Council. A representative of The British Council will be pleased to arrange a visit to your school to discuss services and opportunities for collaborative working.
