What do we offer your company or organisation?

The British Council is connecting people worldwide through educational opportunities and cultural relations. We are leaders in language training and we offer high quality courses, created to meet your personal and professional needs.

We offer courses for companies, institutions, organizations, universities and individuals. The courses are tailored to suit the needs of your organisation, whether that is General English, Business English or professional development courses. The aim of our courses is to provide your employees with the tools they need to improve their language ability to interact in English in international contexts.

Our team of teachers is highly qualified and experienced. In addition to having internationally recognized teaching qualifications, issued by the University of Cambridge, our teachers have extensive experience in different fields such as consulting, law, journalism, human resources, finance. Many of our teachers have post-graduate qualifications and also enjoy the educational opportunities offered by the British Council itself, ensuring their continuing professional development.

For the convenience of our customers, tuition can take place either on the company’s premises or at our office.

We offer different type of courses:

General English

These courses:

follow an appropriate course book.
involve regular progress tests.
raise general language ability in all areas (grammar, vocabulary, speaking, writing, reading and listening).
prepare the trainees for Cambridge exams

Business English

These courses:

broaden specialised business vocabulary.
present and practise relevant grammatical items.
improve the skills of writing,reading,listening and speaking within a business context.
develop business skills - from telephone English and simple report writing (at lower levels) to business presentations, team building and negotiation (at higher levels).

Professional Development Courses

Our professional development courses are designed following a needs analysis and consultation with you.

These courses:

focus on specific language needs (such as report writing or presentations).
develop the trainees’ overall language skills and knowledge.

We consult you throughout the process to make sure that the course meets your particular business needs.
