Job

Senior Teacher, Porto
Contract start date: September 2012.

British Council, Porto, Portugal is looking for an experienced Senior Teacher to join our teaching management team. You will have a first degree or equivalent and a TEFL Q plus 2 years post diploma extensive teaching experience with adults and young learners. You will have line management and academic management experience and be used to working as part of a team.

Part time Teacher of English, Porto
start date 20 September 2012

The British Council Porto is looking to contract part time teachers of English to work either Saturday mornings or Friday evenings.

The successful candidate will be experienced in teaching children, teenagers and adults.

Minimum requirements are a CELTA and two years full time post CELTA English language teaching experience.

Exams marshals and invigilators
We occasionally recruit hourly-paid staff to supervise exams (invigilators) and to direct people around the system on exam days (marshals).

You must:

be over age 18
have completed compulsory education
hold at least an FCE certificate
be available to work on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays (all day)
attend a two-hour training session which will be held sometime before the relevant exam session
