Applications are invited for the Gaza Oxford Brookes University Scholarship for entry in September 2012.
The scholarship covers travel expenses, full fees and living expenses for the Academic Year 2012/2013 only.
Applicants should fulfil the following criteria :
•Wish to study for a one year full-time taught masters at Oxford Brookes University
•Have a good undergraduate degree ( equivalent to a 1st/2:1 )
•Be under 35 years of age
•Have an IELTS score of 6.5 or above
•Have relevant work experience
•Undertake to return to Gaza after completing their studies
•Be in financial need
The following fields of study are considered priority areas but other areas may be considered:
•Built environment, regeneration , development , environmental management
•Development and emergency practice
•Public Health, disease prevention and control, rehabilitation, social care
•Law, human rights
•Computer Sciences (IT)
Applicants should apply using the Oxford Brookes post-graduate application form and should also write a covering letter of no more than 500 words explaining how they meet the criteria and why they should be considered for the scholarship. Application forms must be sent directly to the British Council in Gaza.
