youtubeLiving Room, Auckland City Council's annual 10 day public Art event, features artists from all over the World including the BCNZ sponsored UK contingent. The programme includes a mix of performance art, installations, sound art and video projection. In 2011, the theme is "Metropolis Dreaming" and includes renowned UK artist Disinformation.
Man jumping in the airAs part of the British Council New Zealand's New Work New Audiences programme, we have one of our flagship events called People In Your Neighbourhood which launched March 2009, ready to roll out for 2011-12.
The event brings together aspiring artists and performers from Auckland's diverse music and creative communities, to workshop, capacity build, collaborate and celebrate with cutting edge visiting UK creative expertise.
