The Loan Fund (Lånekassen) is not necessarily your only source of funding. Check out our list of scolarship resources and find out if you are eligble for any additional funding:

Legathåndboka

We recommend all students seeking additional funding to study in the UK to have a look in Legathåndboka. You can buy the book in most bookshops and Narvesen kiosks.

Your institution

It could also be worth contacting the institution that has offered you a place and find out if they have any scholarships available to international students.

Check out British Council's central site for information on possible sources of funding for international students.

UK scholarship database

Do a search in the UK Scholarship database to find a scholarship you can apply to.

Please note that we no longer administer the Chevening scolarship in Norway. It has been decided by FCO that the scolarship shall be awarded to students outside Europe only.
