The English Challenge November Winners

13-20 November 2011, Rabat

British Council Morocco is organising the first ever British Film Week in Rabat in collaboration with the Centre Cinematographique Marocain (CCM) and  L'Institut Spécialisé du Cinéma et de l'Audiovisuel (ISCA).

This celebration of UK film takes place at Cinema 7eme Art in the heart of the capital from the 13th to the 17th November 2011 and will hold a programme of diverse streams of award winning and critically acclaimed films.

Screened mainly in the English language, the event aims to give insight through film into the British Culture. From the 13th to the 18th November, the British Council will bring to the big screen five films by acclaimed British film directors, from different genres from comedy and fantasy to romance and tragedy.

From 14 to 17 November, the screenings will be open to the public starting from 18:00 every evening, followed by 30min debate sessions with the public. Never Let Me Go (2010)

Moon (2009)

Submarine (2010)
Director: Richard Ayaode
Comedy/ Drama – 97 minutes
15-year-old Oliver Tate has two objectives: To lose his virginity before his next birthday, and to extinguish the flame between his mother and an ex-lover who has resurfaced in her life.
