How to register for IELTS

Information for candidates

IELTS REGISTRATION

In order to register for IELTS, your first step is to fill in the online Application form. You will select the desired examination date and provide your contact details. In order to successfully complete your IELTS registration, after you have completed the Application Form online, within five days you or someone you authorise, need to come to our office with:

  1. Two (2) recent identical passport-sized photographs (your face clearly visible, any glasses removed)
  2. Your passport and National ID
  3. The exam fee is paid in cash – EUR 165.00

We are open for public every working day except on Friday from 10:00 until 12:00.

If you send someone on your behalf, email us informing who will come to our office instead of you. The said person need to bring all of the listed documentation (two photographs, signed copies of your National ID and passport as well as the examination fee).

CONFIRMATION OF REGISTRATION
After registration you will receive by post or e-mail a confirmation letter with the exam venue, date and hours. In order to receive this letter in time it is essential that all contact details in the Application Form are correct and completed.

HOW CAN I POSTPONE / CANCEL THE TEST?
Candidates who request a postponement or cancellation of their test within 5 weeks of the test date will normally be charged the full fee unless they are able to provide evidence that their ability to sit the test has been affected by illness or a serious cause. Evidence must be provided within 5 days following the test date.

HOW MANY TIMES CAN I TAKE THE EXAM
As many as you want, provided that you have registered on time.

Candidates will still be asked to indicate on their application form whether they have taken the test before.  This information will appear on the Test Report Form and will only be used for monitoring purposes.

SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS
We make every effort to cater for candidates with special needs. It is our aim for the language level of all candidates, to be assessed fairly and objectively. Candidates should notify the centre of any special requirements when they apply, at least 6 weeks before the desired test date.
