Discussion groups

FLTEACH – The FLTEACH is a very active e-mail discussion list for foreign language teachers, mainly USA based. The website contains a searchable archive of previous discussion topics.

LINGUIST – Home of the LINGUIST discussion list and a good source of links to linguistics resources on the Web.

Neteach-L – The home page of the discussion list for using the Internet in language learning with archives and an extensive set of teachers' links maintained by Kristina Pfaff-Harris.

E-mail projects
Dave's ESL Cafe e-mail connection – key pals from all over the world wanting to exchange e-mails to practice English.

E-mail Projects – a clearinghouse for e-mail projects worldwide, sponsored by Outreach Technical Assistance Network (OTAN) of California.

Collaborative Writing Projects on the Internet – not very well organised but still the definitive centre for e-mail writing projects.

Intercultural E-Mail Classroom Connections – a very active e-mail site with over 7,000 subscribers. Not only connections, but also a useful archive.
