On going activities
Thursday 13 till Saturday 15 October
“Creating e-Learning environments and Learning Snacks” training will be delivered by Imagine Education UK trainers to 18 ICT trainers, 3 school directors, 8 cluster coordinators and 11 teachers from public and private schools. The proposed training is designed to develop skills to create high-quality, interactive, online courses and “Learning Snacks” to support Project based learning. Participants will be able to create and publish e-learning courses and Learning Snacks by generating highly customized content, interactive activities, quizzes, games, assessments, animations, demos, and other multimedia.

Thursday 20 October
As part of the Professional Development for Internationalising Education component of the Connecting Classrooms project, we are organising a Networking event for 130 school principals who were trained for 3 days on Strategic Leadership in ICT (SLICT) from 2007 to date at the West Bekaa Country Club in Khorbet Kanafar; key officials from the Ministry of Education (MoE) will be attending the event which aims at measuring the impact of the SLICT training through highlighting the achievements of the Head teachers at their schools as a result of completing the course. Moreover, the project Think Tank members (president of the Centre for Educational Research and Development, Head of the English Department, Head of the training department, the Director of Primary Education as well as the Director of Secondary Education at the MoE) are invited to spend a cultural evening and then meet with the Country Director and the project Manager on Friday 21 October morning to discuss next year Project Activity Plan (2011/2012).

Strategic Leadership in ICT course for School directors – Arabic session.

"International Coordinators Course" delivered in one session.

July and September 2011
School Leadership for Head Teachers and Cluster Coordinators to support the management of change in their schools in embedding the international dimension in their curriculum
