ABOUT THE BRITISH COUNCIL

The British Council is the United Kingdom’s cultural relations agency. We connect people worldwide with learning opportunities and creative ideas from the UK and build mutually beneficial relationships between people in the UK and other countries.

We work in 220 towns and cities in 110 countries around the world and celebrated our 70th anniversary in 2004.

We established our centre in Korea in August 1973. We currently provide services in education promotion, English teaching, information provision and examinations. We promote partnerships in arts, science & technology, ELT and education.
