The Justice Sector Development Programme (JSDP) is an initiative of the Government of Sierra Leone and is funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID). It has been designed as a five year programme, which started in March 2005 and is currently being managed by a British Council led consortium.
The Government of Sierra Leone is committed to enabling access to affordable justice, supporting the rule of law, preventing further conflict, and improving safety and security for the people of Sierra Leone, particularly the poor, marginalised and vulnerable.
This site is designed mainly for those who would like information about the justice sector in Sierra Leone, and about the Justice Sector Development Programme in particular.
