The British Council offers the following courses for teachers and teachers-in-training:

Teacher Workshops

We offer a series of workshops for teachers and teachers-in-training at primary and secondary levels, across a range of topics. The emphasis is on practical ideas for teachers to be able to use and adapt for their own classes, supported by a review of methodology.

We can also offer tailor-made teacher-training workshops to be given at schools, (singly or as a series). For more information about these, please contact:

Bringing topics to life
This session investigates how we can deal with serious topics like climate change in the language classroom. We see how they needn’t be dull topics that teachers and students dread covering, instead they can be a motivating context for language practice. The session takes a new look at these topics and provides teachers of all levels hands on practice at tackling these topics with a fresh approach.
