Arts

New ways of connecting and seeing each other through the arts

Our Arts programme in Norway currently focuses on constitutional and human rights and the freedom of expression for all.

We aim to

How?

British Council is involved in arts projects which empower audiences to explore at times uncomfortable issues and untangle the many misunderstandings and presumptions through the arts, often using documentary forms (film, texts, literature, visual and performing arts).

UK is a leader in many aspects of running arts organisations. In addition to UK experts, speakers and artists, we provide capacity building for our strategic partners. Equal opportunity and diversity, access and inclusiveness, and audience building are just some of these.
