British Council Library & Information Centre is organising a workshop to mark the World Environment Day which falls on 5 June.  At the workshop the following topic will be discussed:

Reading Club
Do you have a taste for scandal or romance, action or adventure? Why not share it with your fellow members?

The aim of British Council Reading Club is to promote the habit of reading, to help maintain reading skills and to facilitate non-competitive book discussions.

How often do we meet?

Twice a month.

Will it be boring?

We are going to read for pleasure and discussion will often lively but never boring. The reading club will be run together by members of staff from the library and the club members so you can decide on how we conduct the future discussions.

NEW ELT BOOKS ON DISPLAY

New ELT books will be displayed in the library from 19 to 24 June. Members can reserve these books during the display period and borrow them starting from Monday 25 June. In addition, English Teaching Resource Pack with CD will also be available for teachers at the Self Access Centre.
