This seminar will focus on the importance of vocabulary in the different parts of the test. In the light of the recent review of YLE wordlists, we will be looking at the rationale behind this modification and some of the changes that will take place.

How can we make Reading and Writing more interesting for lower levels? This seminar will look at the different tasks for each paper and explore what kind of classroom activities will help students improve these skills

This seminar focuses on a different approach to teaching curriculum subjects through the medium of English in the Primary and Secondary sector. The TKT CLIL qualification offers non-native teachers an internationally recognised qualification, which will broaden their horizons and increase their opportunities in the workplace.

Students find this skill the most difficult to improve, especially as they go up to more advanced levels. The seminar will focus on strategies to develop in the classroom and how this impacts their performance in exams.

Business English is becoming increasingly important in our global age. How does BEC differ from the main suite exams and how important is this certification for the world of work? We shall be examining the different parts of the test and appropriate activities and self-study support.
