young learners and teenagers courses

The aim of these courses is to improve knowledge of all aspects of the English language, including speaking and listening skills, reading and grammar. The courses are designed to consolidate and extend the English learnt at school.

At each level, teachers use a variety of methods to ensure that the lessons are both effective and enjoyable.

In addition to following a course book, all students will be involved in different types of activities suitable for their age group. These include games, theatre, songs and pair and group work.

YL Senior summer courses (age 14-17)

Intensive courses for teenagers useful to expand the four fundamentals skills: listening, speaking, writing and reading.

Infant (age 6)

For children who just started the “prima elementare” and are still learning to read and write. At this level, the language is learnt through play, practice and experience.

Junior (age 7-10)

The emphasis at this level is to help children to encourage a greater familiarity with the language.

Bridge (age 9-11)

This course stimulates an interest in the language and motivates children to begin to communicate in English for the first time.

Middle (age 10-13)

At this age children are helped to learn English in a more analytical way, leading to faster results.

Senior (age 14-17)

At this age, students are helped by the teacher to become more autonomous learners.

Children can have fun with games, songs, stories and lots of activities on LearnEnglish Kids - and learn English too!
