Adult Courses
Our aim for all our courses is to help you use English more effectively. Our syllabus and aims based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages reflected in "can do" statements for your language ability. The course themselves involve a course book around which your teacher will supplement with other materials. We use a variety of teaching techniques such as role-plays, quizzes, discussion and simulations to make your classes more enjoyable and varied. Your teacher will inform you of the learning aims of each activity you do in class in order to understand what we are doing and why. We also encourage systematic reflection on learning and self-assessment.
We help you learn grammar and vocabulary as these are the building blocks of language. However, we also aim to give you as many opportunities as possible to use the language to help you speak more fluently and communicate with confidence. We also help you develop your reading, writing and listening skills. Reading and writing are also effective ways of revising language and extending and consolidating the range of your vocabulary.
