ELTons 2012 winners announced
The winners of the British Council ELTons, a celebration of excellence in English language teaching from around the world, were announced at a ceremony in London on 23 May 2012.

Sponsored by Cambridge ESOL, awards were given in seven categories. The winners are:

Lifetime Achievement Award: Alan Maley

Excellence in Course Innovation: Bell Blended Learning for ELT, Bell

Innovation in Learner Resources: Sounds: The Pronunciation App, Macmillan Education

Innovation in Teacher Resources: Digital Play, Delta Publishing

Digital Innovation: WORDREADY Academic English, L2

Local Innovation: The Colour of Words, Colour Trick S.l.
