Funding programmes

Through our schemes, we support the forming of new links between early stage researchers in the UK and in other countries. We have opportunities for funding both single or short term exchange visits and networking conferences.

We aim to help develop new research links between higher education institutions and research laboratories in the UK and other countries and to encourage mobility and internationalism among early stage researchers.

For early stage researchers, spending time in another country and meeting other researchers in the same field offers many advantages; giving them a chance to acquire new cutting-edge-skills, to participate in multicultural research teams and helps to build the UK as a leading partner for achievement in world science, now and in the future.

researcher exchange programme

The Researcher Exchange Programme (RXP) is our initiative which aims to promote the development of scientific cooperation and contacts between the UK and other countries.

INYS programme

INYS is a programme for bringing together young researchers from the UK and other countries to make new contacts and promote the creative exchange of ideas through short conferences.

Research Networks

Our research networks promote links and contacts between British and higher education research institutions and laboratories in other countries working with local partners through our offices outside of the UK.
