Public Sector Management Experience

The Serbia EU Integration Scholarships scheme, managed by a consortium led by the British Council, was launched in April 2010. It has a total value of 4.2m Euros. It will bring 200 civil servants to the UK and other Member States from central and local government for short training courses and longer internships, as well as 40 “community multipliers” from civil society, business and universities. Exposure to different administrations will serve to align Serbia better with the rest of Europe and pave the way for its future entry to the EU.
