Connecting Classrooms is a new project that builds lasting partnerships between schools in the UK, Hungary and other countries around the world. This develops trust and understanding between young people in different societies, creating a safer and more connected world for the future.
All schools involved in Connecting Classrooms
work with partner schools on collaborative curriculum projects, which enable learners to interact across geographical boundaries in order to enhance their understanding of each other’s societies, languages, and cultures; In September 2010 we launch Connecting Classrooms in Hungary. This project builds lasting partnerships between groups of schools in the UK and in over 60 countries around the world. Through these partnerships, the programme develops understanding and trust between young people in different societies, creating a safer and more connected world for the future.
Our partner is the pedagogical institute of Budapest, Mérei Ferenc Fővárosi Pedagógiai és Pályaválasztási Tanácsadó Intézet. 10 schools from Budapest will participate in the first year of the project and 20 other schools will join the project in September 2011 from all over Hungary.
