IATEFL-Hungary, the British Council and NYESZE have come together this year to bring teachers of English some of the action as it happened at the IATEFL conference in Brighton.
Brighton Online is an IATEFL – British Council initiative that offers free, interactive coverage of this year’s Brighton IATEFL conference with video sessions, interviews, discussion forums and news.
Three organisations in support of quality in language teaching came together in Hungary on 16 April 2011 to give teachers of English a chance to take part in the conference virtually real time: watch sessions and interviews, interact with teachers from around the world, talk to presenters and conference delegates, share ideas and get a feel for what the "big" IATEFL conference is like.
As well as experiencing some of the action as it happened from Brighton, at the Brighton Online event participants could learn about using social media tools including Facebook, Twitter, blogs and Skype to enhance their professional development.
Read the account of the event written truthfully by our MC, Mark Andrews.
