Wednesday 7 March 2012: How Teachers Teach and Learner Learn

We examine the basic ingredients of teaching style and the different ways in which learners acquire a foreign language.

Wednesday 28 March 2012: A Guide to Story-telling

How can we make reading and listening activities interesting for young learners? Interesting, simple, short and fun story-telling activities for young learners of English.

Wednesday 25 April 2012: Preparing and Assessing Candidates for Cambridge Speaking Tests

We examine the ingredients of Cambridge speaking test assessment and provide some top tips for exam success.

Venue: Teaching Centre, British Council, 17 Kolonaki Square, Athens
Registration: From 13 February 2012 onwards
Entry Requirements: You must have a recognised Proficiency qualification or be native-speaker of English equivalent.
Fees:
  • €75 per seminar (3 hours/seminar)
  • €142.50 if you register for 2 seminars
    (10% discount)
  • €202.50 if you register for 3 seminars
    (20% discount)
