Child Rights/Juvenile Justice International Perspective on Street Children
Street children are disproportionately more likely to come into (actual or perceived) conflict with the law, and are less able to defend themselves from abuse once they have entered the criminal justice  system. The Consortium for Street Children (CSC) undertook a two-year research and advocacy project to examine the situation of the human rights abuses of street children in juvenile justice systems in six countries: Kenya, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Pakistan, the Philippines and Romania. Conflict prevention / resolution online journal
Peace, Conflict & Development is a free online journal published by University of Bradford Department of Peace Studies which covers contemporary issues in conflict and peace.

CABE Education
Part of CABE (Commission for Architecture in the Built Environment), CABE Education is a web resource for children encouraging them to understand the value of well designed buildings and spaces. Their programmes are designed to encourage children to become active citizens in their communities

Active Citizenship Centre
Government sponsored a virtual resource centre for policy makers, academics, NGOs and the public involved in all aspects of Citizenship. The website includes research information, policy documents, examples of practice and evaluation tools for active involvement of citizens in their community and in public life.

The Guardian’s “Public” Journal and On-line Society pages
Public” is a new monthly magazine for public service professionals, produced by Guardian newspaper. Subscription to the Journal is being organised through ISM department and will be available on their resources list in the near future. The Society pages on Guardian online are also an excellent resource for information and debate on UK Public Administration, Public Services and Public Policy.

The Centre for Public Scrutiny is an independent not-for-profit limited company and has been created to promote the value of scrutiny in modern and effective government.
