If you are a teacher of English, we offer www.teachingenglish.org.uk website, produced in cooperation with BBC; the site will provide you with all the resources you need in your busy professional life: practical classroom activities, lesson plans, reading materials, updated information for your professional development, conferences, trainings and more. The website also allows you to share your ideas with your colleagues around the world. For the last 8 months we have made 10 official presentations of the site in various educational institutions; we have trained 20 trainers and over 1000 teachers in using the site. Currently more than 1200 English teachers are registered on the site from Georgia; The project continues.

If you are a learner of English,  we offer www.britishcouncilk.org/learnenglish website, produced in cooperation with BBC. The site provides you with a wide range of quality online resources. Test your level of English for free, read interesting English stories and enjoy your favourite songs in English. Exciting English learning materials will help you improve your English at all levels, from beginner to advanced, and in specific areas. For the last 8 months we have made 15 official presentations of the site in various educational institutions, including the Ministry of Education and Science, schools and universities. Currently over 6000 people visit the site monthly from Georgia, so start using it NOW!

TKT essentials: a training course for teachers

We have trained 15 English language teachers to act as trainers for the TKT Essentials course. TKT Essentials is a training course  – one of the ELT Global Products produced by experts in UK. The course is the introduction to the basic theory associated with a communicative approach to English language teaching, such as classroom management, learning and teaching styles, assessment types, etc. The course is based on the syllabus of the Cambridge ESOL Teaching Knowledge Test  In 2009 over 400 teachers took the TKT Essentials course in Georgia, among them were teachers from Zugdidi, Poti Chiatura and Keda. In 2009 the course was accredited by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and since then the trainings are managed by our partner English Teachers’ Association of Georgia  to whom we officially handed the course over.

Classroom Language: a training course for teachers

We have trained 10 trainers and over 300 teachers for using the Global Product: Classroom Language for Teachers. Training aims to develop participants’ confidence and skills in using more English at their lessons.

Talking Videos: a training course for teachers

If you want to develop your teaching speaking skills to young learners, this is the course for you. The course lasts 10  hours and is based on DVD materials followed by tasks and discussions.
