Accurate, relevant and up to date market information is becoming increasingly important to UK institutions aiming to develop their marketing strategies. We hold data concerning international students studying in the different sectors of education in the UK:

Please note that access to some of our student data is exclusive to Education UK Partnership members.

Higher education
HESA statistics
The 2009/2010 HESA statistics are now available. Partnership members can also read a top-level analysis of this data:

Our interactive on-line system enables Partnership members to customise queries of higher education student data and run searches tailored to your specific needs.

Access the HE student data query system

Currently, the system contains statistics provided by HESA for the academic years 2002/2003 to 2009/2010.

Further education
Partnership members can access information collated from the devolved administrations of the UK that details where international students in UK FE come from, where they choose to study and what area of learning they choose to pursue:

Independent schools and colleges
Partnership members can access information from the Independent Schools Council showing where students have come from over the last ten years to study at independent schools and colleges in the UK:

Transnational education
From 2007/2008, HESA have collected data on students studying a UK qualification entirely outside of the UK.

HESA collect data in the following fields:

institution
country of activity
level of provision
type of activity.
