Our education market intelligence (EMI) is made available at four different levels:
1. Market introductions
Basic EMI is delivered in the form of market introductions which are available to everyone.
The market introductions provide a basic introduction to each country's market and in-country British Council infrastructure under the following four headings:
Market environmentWe currently provide market introduction information, updated regularly, on nearly forty countries.
2. Core Partnership EMI provision
Core EMI is delivered in the form of our online international student data and country profiles of the countries supported by the Education UK Partnership. To access this level of market information, a Partnership password is required.
a. International student data
Our online international student data includes downloadable reports detailing independent schools and college data, and further education student data. Our interactive web-based system enables Partnership members to customise queries of higher education student data for the period 2002 to 2010.
b. Country profiles
The country profiles provide macroeconomic and socio demographic data on the 18 Partnership-supported countries. They are updated annually.
3. Country Partnership EMI provision
The highest level of EMI is delivered on the country Partnership websites and is only available to members of each particular country Partnership. Members will be required to use their Partnership password when accessing the EMI section of the country Partnership websites.

We profile research projects the British Council has commissioned via the Prime Ministers Initiative and the Education UK Partnership to provide the latest and most up-to-date information about marketing education internationally.
