New Work New Audiences Orange lozenge left

New Work New Audiences takes British art forms to influential audiences around the world and enables them to experience the transformational effect of the arts. New Work New Audiences highlights the power of the arts as a catalyst for developing international understanding, trust and dialogue and through this builds a stronger engagement with the UK.

What Is New Work New Audiences?

New Work New Audiences aims to significantly increase the international audience for contemporary creativity from the UK. This creativity will take many forms, both as an expression of the UK's unique cultural diversity and as a response to global demand for British creativity.

The different art forms can enable large numbers of people to experience the power of culture and the arts to develop understanding, trust and dialogue. Through the partnerships of New Work New Audiences, the international reputation of the UK will be strengthened with long term benefits for British society and the UK cultural sector and economy.

We have been working in partnership with representative artists, organisations and institutions in order to support high quality production in the areas of music, theatre, design, fashion, exhibition, literature, and cross-sectoral artistic approaches.
