Who is it for?
OLTDP is an internet -based teacher development course.
If you are teaching English and want to practise new ideas and techniques in your regular classes, the OLTDP could be the right course for you.
How does it work?
The approximately four hour-a-week course provides an introduction to teaching methods, language analysis, pronunciation and classroom techniques. It includes input reading materials and two written assignments on which you will receive feedback. You can also prepare for the University of Cambridge Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT); the OLTDP includes language input and tasks that help you review meta-language tested in the TKT.

Can you take this course?
To do the course you need:
English language level at least B1 (Common European Framework). You can download the CEF Self-assessment Checklist in English or Spanish to find out your level, or test yourself at the LearnEnglish website or at Dialang website.
a working e-mail address
good IT skills: using the internet, word-processing, use of Adobe Acrobat (which can be downloaded free from the internet)
access to the internet for at least two hours a week so that you can access the materials and take part in the online discussion of the ideas and techniques you will be reading about and trying out in class
time to study and apply your studies

The price of the course (modules 1,2 and 3) is $8,000.00 (Mexican pesos) including IVA (The cost of the TKT exam is not included).
