The application for representatives of Teacher Associations from Argentina to attend the 46th IATEFL Conference to be held in Glasgow between 19-23 March 2012 is now closed.
IATEFL holds its International Annual Conference & Exhibition every spring, which is attended by over 2000 ELT professionals from 100+ countries. It involves a 3.5 -4-day programme of over 500 talks, workshops and symposiums and, in addition to giving delegates a chance to meet leading theorists and writers, and exchange ideas with fellow professionals from all sectors of ELT, it enables them to see the latest ELT publications and services in a large resources exhibition involving around 70 ELT-related exhibitors.
We would like to identify teacher association representatives who have demonstrable influence in ELT in Argentina, are able to make decisions on behalf of the EL profession and have never been to IATEFL.
During the conference, representatives will be expected to participate in a BC networking event and IATEFL Associates' day, and also disseminate their learning and experience at the conference back to members of their associations. As well, successful applicants will be expected to have a speaker proposal that has been accepted by IATEFL. Please note the closing date for the IATEFL speaker proposal is 16 September 2011.
