IRIS

IRIS is an on-line database for student reports, developed and managed by our colleagues in Norway.The web site has clear explanations and instructions (in English) about the facilities offered and how to get at the database.The database already has a record of most Erasmus institutions. As a new user you will log in (contact us to obtain Norway's contact details); change your password; check and amend your institution's details in the database; set up records for your Erasmus students with a minimum of basic data (the web site tells you how). Your students can then add to or amend their own records, again on-line using a web form with tick boxes and pull-down menus and also spaces for text, until they are happy. When a student "closes" his/her report, you have access to it to agree that it is OK; the student alone has rights to edit it.

Please note that in addition to using IRIS, individual student reports (Annex 3 of 2007/08 Operational Handbook) are still a contractual requirement and we require a paper copy.
