Lifelong Learning Programme Valorisation Event

Reaching Out - 9 December, Studio Venues, Manchester

The British Council, together with its sister agency, Ecorys (formerly Ecotec) is holding its annual Valorisation Event - "Reaching Out" - a national cross-programme valorisation event for LLP practitioners, on the theme of inclusion. It will be a lively and inspiring event, with interactive workshops, group discussions, a projects 'marketplace', and a great opportunity for networking. Participants are also invited to attend a conference dinner the evening before the event.

The aim is to share experience and best practice relating to the theme of inclusion and will serve as an inspiring learning, development and networking resource for practitioners across the UK. Groups and individuals operating within each programme will have an increased and shared understanding of inclusion issues and different practical approaches to these. You will also have a better understanding of the opportunities and funding available within each of the programmes.

The following programmes will be represented:

Eurodesk (host)
Leonardo
Grundtvig
Transversal
Comenius
Erasmus
Youth in Action

The event will take place on Thursday 9 December 2010 from 1000hrs. to 1800hrs at the Studio Venues, Manchester with accommodation provided at the nearby Thistle Hotel. Participants are invited to arrive the previous evening, when there will be a conference dinner and other informal activity related to the theme of inclusion.

To register for this event you must be from an institution that holds an Erasmus University Charter and be able to contribute fully to the discussions on social inclusion.

Please register for this event by 19 November on the salto-youth website
