Youth and Society

We work in partnership with the government of Egypt, Youth networks, civil society organisations and schools aiming to promote the active participation of citizens and communities so that they are better able to govern their own societies. To achieve this we work in areas of awareness raising, support for policy dialogues and institutional capacity building. Through our work we strengthen mutual cultural understanding between the UK, Egypt and the region.

Media in Society

Media and society is a project aimed to improve the effectiveness of the media and its professionalism. Find out more.

Gender equality

We work with women and men globally to promote the status of women and their participation in the political, social, economic, cultural and legal structures in their countries.

Young citizens and participation

We work so that young people and educators in Egypt and the UK have an improved understanding of citizenship values in their respective countries. Some of our events include Dreams and Teams and Bridges.
