Young Arab Voices

Global Xchange is an international volunteer exchange programme for young people aged 18 – 25yrs. This year the British Council will pilot a new multi-lateral model where a team of 24 volunteers selected from 6 countries (the UK, the Netherlands, Bosnia, Egypt, Yemen and Morocco) will work in an overseas community for three months and then in a UK community for three months.

Leadership in Community Development (LICD) is the transformational leadership programme that the Council is running in Syria, Jordan, Palestine, Tunisia, Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, Algeria, and the UK. “LICD” incorporates our previously known InterAction Leadership Programme. We aim to develop a powerful network of like-minded leaders to contribute to positive social change in their individual communities.
