Project NT Live (National Theatre Live) offers live broadcasts of selected performances from London’s National Theatre. The overall length is about 3 hours, including one break. Days of European Film (DEF) is the only showcase of European films, whose purpose is to present contemporary European cinema and enrich the offer of European films in Czech cinemas. Every year there are over 40 feature films in more than 120 projections during the festival. The event is focused on both local film audiences as well as expats living in the Czech Republic (most films are shown in their original language with English subtitles, all films have Czech subtitles). The 11th year of the International festival of animated films AniFest will take place from 26th April to 1st May 2012 in Teplice. It will celebrate the magic of magic puppet and the centenary of the Czech puppet master Jiří Trnka. The jury will include leading figures of puppet animation (such as the American director Will Vinton, Oscar winner for his short film Closed Mondays) or a Czech director and artist Michal Zabka.
