Global Schools Partnerships

Global School Partnerships promotes partnerships between schools in Latin America and the Caribbean and schools in the UK.

Global School Partnerships is a dynamic and exciting approach to global citizenship. By supporting mutually beneficial learning partnerships between schools it embed a global dimension in the curriculum.

Global School Partnerships aims to raise young people’s awareness of global issues and to equip them with the skills and knowledge to become active global citizens.

We help provide a real and relevant content across a range of subjects and help teachers and learners to relate to issues of development and global citizenship.

Teachers and learners across the different countries are discovering that working together through their global school partnerships brings the big global issues into the classroom, creating new learning opportunities and interactions. This enable young people to learn about themselves and their responsibilities as global citizens in an interdependent world.

Global School Partnerships is funded by UKaid from the Department for International Development and run by the British Council, Cambridge Education Foundation, UK One World Linking Association and Voluntary Service Overseas.
