Call for experts

The British Council Croatia is looking for experts in the field of education for the IPA project Improving the quality of in-service teacher training system which we will be bidding for.

Key expert 1: Team leader and expert in developing INSETT systems (minimum 380 days over project duration)

Qualifications and skills

PhD in education;
Fluency in written and spoken English.

General professional experience

5 years of professional experience in teacher training;
5 years in a managerial position in a Teacher Training institution;
2 years as a team leader of an internationally funded project;
1 year of work experience in EU pre-accession countries would be an asset.

Specific professional experience

5 years of experience in designing and implementing tailor-made teacher training programmes;
2 years of experience in INSETT strategy development;
3 years of experience in organisational development would be an asset.

Key expert 2: Expert in analysing and developing training systems (minimum 100 days over project duration)

Qualifications and skills

MA in education;
Fluency in written and spoken English.

General professional experience

5 years of work experience in an institution dealing with research in the field of education
2 years of experience as an expert in internationally funded projects;
1 year of work experience in EU pre-accession countries would be an asset.

Specific professional experience

3 years experience in INSETT training-needs analyses;
2 years of experience as a head of research project in education

Key expert 3: Expert in the development of teacher training strategies (minimum 150 days over project duration)

Qualifications and skills

MA in education;
Fluency in written and spoken English.

General professional experience

5 years of work experience in strategy development in education
2 years experience in a managerial position;
2 years of experience as an expert in internationally funded projects;
1 year of work experience in EU pre-accession countries would be an asset.

Specific professional experience

5 years of work experience in developing and implementing teacher training strategies;
3 years of experience in designing teacher training programmes;
3 years of experience in working with international institutions in the field of teacher training
